Invite The Neighbors is a podcast dedicated to promoting the DIY music community, created by Bryan Porter (hey that’s me!) in Ann Arbor, MI. I’ve been a musician since middle school and I started playing in bands in the DIY scene starting in 2018. I quickly fell in love with the community and wanted to find my niche in it. I also was a huge podcast fan, and I noticed that there didn’t seem to be anyone on my radar doing a podcast devoted to DIY music, so I thought, HEY! Why don’t I go ahead and be the one to change that? So here we are! I’m passionate about music and I genuinely want to do whatever I can to help promote bands within this community.
